The Old Globe is hosting a FREE Sensory Friendly event and a discounted Sensory Friendly performance of Dr. Seuss's How the Grinch Stole Christmas! 🎄

8-10am is a FREE family event, with festivities including music and arts and crafts. Tickets to the sensory friendly performance are not required to attend.

This means taking a break from constant thinking, planning, or decision-making.

Examples of mental rest:
🧠Quiet moments with no screens or to-do lists.
🧠Writing thoughts down to clear your mind.
🧠Taking short “pause breaks” between tasks.

🎄✨ Ramona’s 33rd Annual Christmas Tree Lighting is coming!
Join us on Saturday, December 6, 2025, from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM (Tree Lighting at 7:00 PM) at the Guy B. Woodward Ramona Museum, 645 Main St. for a magical evening full of holiday fun for the whole family.

Enjoy free printed photos with Santa, live animal photo opportunities, Christmas movies in the street, late-night dining and shopping, carolers, live dancers, a “Find the Elf” contest, free crafts for kids, racecar simulators, a classic car display, local vendors, and so much more!

The night will feature live performances from the Ramona/Julian Academy of Dance, Patrick Howard Trampus Band, Ramona Lutheran Children’s Choir, Turning Point School of Dance, the High School Band, Del Sol Dancers, Ukeladies, Ashley E Norton, Gin Tonix/Jazz Foursome, OPMS Choir, and a Live Nativity Scene.
