We celebrated the amazing women in our community with "Celebrating Her Legacy," a beautiful event filled with connection and joy. Residents enjoyed a delightful tea party with cucumber and cream cheese sandwiches and refreshing iced tea, shared inspiring stories from their lives, and participated in fun, creative crafts, honoring the strength, wisdom, and beauty of every woman in our community. 💐💖🌸🌺💗🌼

What a fun afternoon at our King and Queen Crowning Ceremony! 🥰👸🤴👑❤️ Residents and staff had a blast voting for their favorite king and queen. We kicked off the festivities with a royal match game to see who shares favorites, leading up to the crowning of our King and Queen. Our beautiful queen, Judi, was so thrilled when she found out she was nominated that she couldn't contain her excitement; she playfully flopped onto the floor in pure joy! 😃😅👑💖👸🤣 Everyone truly felt like royalty for the day. A big congratulations to Albert and Judi for being crowned King and Queen; but honestly, everyone was a king and queen in our hearts! 🥰💖💗💝💘🩷💖❤️💛

We are excited to introduce our new program, Donuts and Smiles, every Tuesday at 10:30. Residents enjoy delicious donuts while spending time and having conversations with friends and family. Some were having so much fun enjoying their treats that they didn't even want to stop for photos! 😃🍩💗

In recognition of Black History Month, residents participated in a special themed Jeopardy session, viewed educational documentaries, and engaged in discussions highlighting influential Black leaders and their lasting impact. The program provided an enriching opportunity to reflect, learn, and celebrate important contributions to history. 😃🤎🌎📚📝🌟❤️

We had a wonderful lunch outing at Andy’s Kitchen. Residents enjoyed taste-testing a variety of gourmet Chinese dishes and savoring every flavorful bite. It was truly a delicious outing filled with great food and even better company. 😃🥡🥠🍜😋🥢✨

In honor of American Heart Month, we hosted a live food demonstration featuring heart-healthy yogurt parfaits! Our activity team prepared the delicious parfaits while residents and staff enjoyed watching the demonstration and learning along the way. 😃💗❤️💗❤️♥️

We explored heart trivia, a bit of heart health history, and discussed how each ingredient (from antioxidant-rich berries to protein-packed yogurt and heart-healthy nuts) helps support cardiovascular wellness. 🍓🫐😋🍦❤️

It was a fun, flavorful, and informative celebration filled with smiles, learning, and lots of love for healthy hearts! ♥️💙❤️💗❤️♥️💙

We are honored to be featured by the Rancho Cordova Grapevine Independent for our annual Hearts & Heroes Valentine’s Bingo. Grateful for the incredible community partners who helped make it so special. 🥰

There were plenty of “Bingo!” calls echoing through the community room Tuesday morning at Summerset Senior Living Rancho Cordova, but the real win was connection.
