One of the reasons we celebrate OT and Autism Awareness! One of our families shared this:

Not too long ago, this kid couldn't even make eye contact with others & had to cover his ears when the family sang "happy birthday"!! John has been surrounded by teachers, therapists, specialists, and doctors & since he was 3. Six months ago, he auditioned for Mary Poppins Jr . After learning lines, singing, dances, stage cues, spacing, and costume changes- it became so obvious how ready he is to NOW be surrounded by peers doing "typical" things and JOHN CRUSHED IT!! It's always been challenging to see the light at the end of the tunnel raising a son with Autism, but it's milestones like this that remind me to take a step back and see how far up that moutain he has climed! I am forever grateful for his team and for for giving him a home!

Our Services: Kids Connections Developmental Therapy Center provides Occupational Therapy and Behavioral Therapy services for children and youth. We provide both in-home and center-based services, including consultation, groups and individualized treatment.

Locations: We have locations in Simi Valley, Van Nuys, Rancho Cucamonga and San Louis Obispo.

Funding: Kids connections accepts insurance, school-district and private pay.
