The egg is a universal symbol of life, creation, rebirth, and fertility, appearing across cultures. Additionally they can symbolize the transition between inner and outer worlds. Egg rattles played with a steady, rhythmic intention can to bridge the seen and unseen realms. An egg rattle can be a powerful spiritual tool for grounding, cleansing, and gentle energy shifting, representing the โ€œCosmic Eggโ€ of creation and infinite potential.

Do you need to hold an intention to benefit from sound healing?

Not at all ๐Ÿ™‚

You do not have to hold an intention to benefit or โ€œget moreโ€ from sound healing. I feel the energy and healing goes wherever itโ€™s needed most at that time, whether itโ€™s physical, emotional, or spiritual. Your body simply receives.

However, holding an intention is an effective way to focus on something additional or deeper you may wish to acknowledge or receive while in the open meditative state sound healing facilitates for most.

I will say that my intention as a practitioner is different than when I get to be a participant. As a participant, I donโ€™t feel the desire to always carry an intention into a sound session. But I think I could say that my usual โ€œintentionโ€ is simply to be present. In this way, being present allows me to receive. Being present with the sound, vibration, healing, and if the space allows, something even deeper.
