💖🎃Check out our painted pumpkins! A huge thank-you to Nurse Tina Robinson for leading our residents in a fun and creative pumpkin painting activity! This year, we went with pink pumpkins to help raise awareness for breast cancer, a colorful reminder of hope, strength, and support for those affected. 💗🎗️

Welcome, Heather!

🌟 Welcome, Heather Impey! Last month we were thrilled to welcome Heather Impey, LNHA as the new Executive Director of Menig Nursing Home!

Heather brings over 20 years of experience in skilled nursing and long-term care leadership, with a strong track record in clinical care, admissions and marketing, and senior administration. Most recently, she served as Administrator of Hanover Terrace Health & Rehabilitation Center in Hanover, NH, where she led the team to a deficiency-free CMS health and life safety survey in October 2024.

Licensed as both a Nursing Home Administrator and LPN in New Hampshire and Vermont, Heather is known for her commitment to regulatory excellence, operational leadership, and, most importantly, compassionate care. Her leadership will further our mission to enhance the quality of life for our residents and uphold the highest standards in elder care.

In Heather’s words:
“I am excited to be offered the opportunity to support and enhance the quality of life for the elder population in my local community. I look forward to working with the exceptional team at Menig to continue building on its tradition of excellence.”

🌞 Tie Dye Tuesday & Cookout Fun! It was another beautiful day for a cookout and we made the most of it! From sizzling grills to the vibrant colors of Tie Dye Tuesday, the good vibes were everywhere.

A special shoutout to Jim Thompson for the amazing live music that took us back to the golden days, and hats off to our incredible dietary team who truly did not disappoint with the delicious spread!

Pictures from a wonderful weekend! On Saturday, during the Last Mile, we went outside to wave and show our heartfelt support to those who ride for such an important cause.

Then on Sunday, we had the pleasure of welcoming some of the amazing members from the Porsche & Friends Whale Tails Gang for a great car show!

We’re reminded once again how lucky we are to be part of such a thoughtful and generous community. Thank you to everyone who continues to support and uplift our residents! ❤️

Our residents had some extra special visitors! 🐶 Nurse Jacqui Klar and her husband, John, brought in their adorable Border Collie puppies who are waiting for their forever homes. The room was filled with wagging tails, happy hearts, and lots of puppy cuddles! 💕

Thank you, Jacqui and John, for sharing the joy and bringing smiles to all of us at Menig. It was truly a day to remember!
