🥦March is National Nutrition Month!

We believe food is medicine and eating more fruits and veggies is a simple way to boost immunity, reduce the risk of chronic diseases, and feel your best!

Gifford’s Registered Dietitian, Stacy Pelletier, works with our inpatient and nursing home residents to support their individual health goals and improve quality of life. She shares, “Understanding the connection between the food we eat and our health empowers us to make better dietary choices.”

💚 Meet Team Gifford!

We’re lucky to have amazing team members who make our clinics welcoming, family-like environments for both our patients and each other. Today, we’re shining the spotlight on Darci Lambert, our dedicated Office Representative at our OBGYN clinic!

Darci truly appreciates the small, community hospital feel we have here at Gifford. She shares, "I love the team environment within the OBGYN clinic, and I enjoy working with other clinics to help coordinate the care our patients need. From day one, everyone has been so friendly and willing to help, it’s really like one big family."

One of her favorite aspects of the job is following patients through their pregnancy journey. She adds, "Supporting our patients for 9 months and then seeing the babies at the end is such a rewarding bonus."

Outside of work, Darci stays busy caring for her 4-legged family members: 2 horses, 2 dogs, and 22 chickens! She’s also an outdoor enthusiast, staying active in nature, and loves getting creative with DIY and craft projects.

We’re so grateful to have Darci as part of our team! Thank you for everything you do for our patients and the OBGYN clinic!

💚 We are so grateful for you, Dr. Borie!

Dr. Kenneth Borie has been looking after folks in Randolph for more than 45 years, offering the kind of steady, no‑nonsense care people around here count on. He came up from the Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine back in the late ’70s and has been part of Gifford and our community ever since. We’re grateful for all he’s given to local families. Thank you, Dr. Borie! ❤️

This March, for National Colore**al Cancer Awareness Month, we’re asking YOU to help spread the word: early detection saves lives!

Colore**al cancer is the 2nd leading cause of cancer deaths in the U.S., but when caught early, it’s highly treatable. Regular screenings can help catch polyps before they become cancer. In fact, if detected early, the survival rate is over 90%.

Colore**al cancer rates are rising among younger adults, which is why current guidelines recommend starting screening at age 45 for those at average risk.
Let’s change the statistics with better information and open conversations.

We’re thrilled to announce the addition of Pelvic Floor Physical Therapy (PFPT) to our growing list of specialized rehabilitation services. This new offering helps reduce barriers to care for those who need pelvic health support, making treatment more accessible, close to home.
