As the year winds down and a new one waits just around the corner, it’s easy to get caught up in the noise—the gifts, the plans, the pressure to do and be more.
But the true blessings of the season are quieter.
Softer.
Easier to miss unless you slow down and look for them.

They’re in the moments that make you breathe deeper.
The people who make you feel seen.
The lessons that shaped you, even when they stretched you.
The strength you didn’t know you had until life asked you to use it.

The real blessings aren’t wrapped—they’re lived.
And as the new year approaches, may we carry forward gratitude for what grounded us, hope for what’s ahead, and faith in the person we’re becoming.

Here’s to more light, more love, and more meaning in the days to come.

In good health,
Kristi

The holidays have a way of stretching us—our time, our energy, our boundaries.
This year, protect your peace like it’s something sacred… because it is.

You’re allowed to say no.
You’re allowed to step back.
You’re allowed to choose calm over chaos, presence over pressure, and small moments of joy over big expectations.

Protecting your peace doesn’t make you difficult or distant.
It makes you intentional.
It makes you healthy.
It makes you you.

Give yourself permission to move through this season gently.
Your peace is worth guarding—especially now. ✨💛

In good health,
Kristi

Sometimes the most powerful thing you can do for your life isn’t hustling harder—it’s sleeping. Sleep is the body’s reset button.
It’s where your mind files away the chaos, your emotions settle, and your body repairs what the day took out of you.

When you wake up rested, the world doesn’t just look different—you feel different. Clearer. Softer. More capable.
Rest isn’t a luxury; it’s the foundation for every goal, every dream, every version of you that you’re trying to grow into.

Tonight, choose to press the reset button.
Tomorrow, meet yourself anew. ✨😴

Kristi

A well-timed power nap can boost your energy, mood, and focus—but only if you do it right. Research shows that 10–20 minutes is the sweet spot: long enough to restore alertness, short enough to avoid sleep inertia (that groggy feeling). Studies also suggest that napping before 3 p.m. keeps it from interfering with nighttime sleep.

For the best results:
• Keep it short (10–20 minutes)
• Nap early afternoon
• Find a cool, quiet, dark space

A quick nap isn’t laziness—it’s science-backed self-care. 🌙✨

Did you know that skimping on sleep can actually lead to weight gain? Research shows that getting less than 7 hours of sleep disrupts hunger hormones like ghrelin and leptin, increases cravings for high-calorie foods, and slows your metabolism. In fact, studies have found that people who consistently sleep too little consume more calories and are more likely to gain weight over time.

If you’re trying to feel better, eat better, or manage your weight, start with your sleep. Your body—and your waistline—will thank you. 😴✨

It’s easy to put off doing something we don’t enjoy. Whether it’s exercising, grocery shopping or filing our taxes, we can often find 100 other things to do before we tackle the least pleasant task at hand.

One way to break this habit, however, is to forgive ourselves for past procrastination. A research study of 119 first-year university students revealed that those who forgave themselves for putting off studying for their first exam reduced their tendency to procrastinate on their prep for future exams.

When we forgive ourselves for past procrastination, we can actually increase our motivation for future tasks and reduce avoidance behavior. This applies not only to procrastination but to all those times when we demonstrate what it means to be human. So please, allow yourself some grace and look ahead, not back.

✨ Winter Solstice Meditation Ceremony ✨
Join us on December 16 at 7:30pm on Zoom
As we move toward the Winter Solstice—the longest night of the year and a sacred pause in nature’s cycle—I invite you to join me for a special meditation gathering.

This ceremony is a space to slow down, reflect, and reconnect. Together, we’ll honor the turning of the seasons through quiet meditation focused on themes of darkness and light, rest and renewal, and the deep wisdom that emerges in stillness.

Whether you’re ready to release what no longer serves you or set meaningful intentions for the year ahead, this gathering will help you align with the natural rhythms of winter and tap into its gentle, powerful energy.

Come find peace, presence, and community as we welcome the magic of the solstice.
