Piano at The National Theater in Breckenridge texas. Roy fixed a problem and touched up by tuning it for a recital that is tonight.

Had a squeaker today. Took a few minutes to figure out this whippen was the squeaky speaker culprit. Had a new one so simply replaced it. I'll figure out why this squeaky squeaker squeaks later. 😁

Trying to take advantage of the warm days. Today I'm in the shop working on two different pianos. One is an old upright player piano, the other a small grand piano.

Trying to get through with the refinishing part of the grand piano and working on player parts while the finish dries on the grand .

Last coat of finish on this side of the board, waiting on a name decal for the fallboard (or key cover) to put the last coat of finish on it.

The pieces of wood you see in the plastic container are from the player piano. There are a total of 88 of these boards that the old leather pouch has to be removed. There are 45 cleaned and ready for new pouch leather.

If the White beast is parked in front of the shop, come on in. Lots to do.

The shop downtown has finally started to warm up.

Today it got up to 70 so I was able to start working on somethings.

Pictures tell the story. More to come next week. While waiting on the polyester finish to dry, I'm working on parts for a player piano.

If you see the old white beast of a suburban downtown at the shop, come inside and see what's going on.
