What is it that you can do today, Beloved? You can check your heart. You can see the suffering in the world that is stemming from so much fear and obsession with false power, a false power thinking it needs to βtake overβ people in order to βwinβ.
Check your heart, Beloved, for where resentments may be keeping you stuck. Check your heart for how you are speaking in your life, are they words of hatred or words of love? Are they words that hold yourself and others accountable, direct and yet tender, offering healing and restoration, or are they words of finger pointing, blame and violence?
Check your heart, Beloved, for a hardened heart wrapped in a destructive ego is a terrifying mix. A hardened heart needing βpower overβ can gather even more people finding themselves caught up in the same hatred, thinking they could ever βwinβ by war, a log of hatred in their eye rendering people unable to truly see. The blind leading the blind never able to βwinβ no matter how much land or how many lives they may take, for their hearts will always be trapped in hatred and death, until they begin to have the true courage to check their heart and start to heal.
What is it that we can do today alongside supporting the people of Ukraine the best we canβ¦.. We can begin to own our own lives and our response to our lives. We can allow ourselves to access mercy; this mercy that is always all around us. We can begin to notice how we are telling our stories that we might practice shifting any narrative seeped in fear and blame, to a narrative wrapped in humility, love, Grace, Tenderness and inclusion.
Our own freedom starts within our very own hearts. We can ask ourselves the tough questions, are we clothing ourselves in love, or are we tending to clothe ourselves in hate and blame? We can begin to check what we are holding tightly in our hearts, for βout of the fullness of the heart the mouth speaksβ. Are we speaking words that heal or words that harm to ourselves and/or others? We can practice knowing the depth of our Belovedβness that goes beyond man made countries, language and division and allow ourselves to live from this core of knowing our very own heart, it is a deep knowing, as we are introduced to ourselves and no bullet can pierce that; once you meet your depth, βdeathβ cannot take it away and there is no need for a βpower overβ anyone, for all you long to have is βpower withβ your shared humanity breathing in and out as a collective whole, as one. One body. One Breath. One Life. One Love/God that is always on everyones side of Love, meaning always on your side offering growth, healing and mercy, never war within or outside of ourselves.
I realize I am writing this from a country that is not in war and I hope I never have to imagine, have to live what war feels like. These words are easy to write from my cozy, safe home. I guess the hope is to offer some words that might bring a few ideas to the page that might help offer a move towards healing as to avoid entering catastrophe in the first placeβ¦. For the world is healed one person at a time. May it start with you, Beloved.
Grace and Peace, Friends.
