WOW 🤩 What a beautiful day shared with our community for our Valentines Party with the Ponies! We have 183 beautiful people sign in over the hour of meeting and grooming the horses, 🐴 enjoying the Photo Booth wagon, scavenger hunts and so many sweet treats!!!

Thank you to our event chair and board member Andra for making this day so wonderful for so many!

SunCatcher Therapeutic Riding Academy is ready to grow our herd!

Whether you want to donate, lease, short/long-term loan, or sell a horse, we NEED to add to our herd so we can serve the 100+ participants that benefit from working with a horse!

Usually the perfect horse for our program is 10 - 20 years old, requires no medications, is easy to catch and lead and loves people and the farrier.

Unless it's a mini, all horses must be gentle under saddle whether riding independently or on a lead line (90% of our sessions are all on lead line).

Ideally, within 2 hours of Rapid City, as we will come look at your horse before bringing into our herd.

Give us a call or send us a message if you have a horse that is ready to be a hero!!!

25 Years of helping horses help people 💛 here in the beautiful Black Hills.

Today we thank every volunteer, board member, staff member, community individual and business donor, and every single horse that have been a part-- big or small-- in helping SunCatcher shine hope in our community through therapeutic horsemanship.

Here's to the next 25 years! 🎂🎉

SunCatcher is a nonprofit organization that exists because of the generous donations of the community, family, and friends of our riders along with funding from businesses, organizations, foundations,  and grants.  It is only with this support, that we are able to succeed.
