Acupuncture is very helpful supporting people going through grief. It is also a very helpful therapy for other emotional issues from controlling anger to calming anxiety. This video is from the Mayo Clinics center of complementary medicine. Dr. McCormick was the first acupuncturist to be invited to lecture on complementary medicine and acupuncture to physicians in 1996. His work as an advocate for acupuncturists and acupuncture has contributed to the opening of this complementary medicine center by the Mayo Clinic. Dr. McCormick was one of the first acupuncturists to be licensed by the Medical Board in Minnesota and played an important role in the development of the acupuncture profession in that region during the 1990's.

Grief is something that impacts everyone. It can be crippling and make day-to-day tasks seem impossible. Some are turning to acupuncture to heal the hurt from grief.
