Fairmont Grand would like to introduce you to our Super Hero of the week, Mikayla Wilson. Mikayla has been working with us for about 6 months. She has been a joy to the residents and the facility as a whole. Mikayla's career goals is to gain experience as a CNA and maybe get her Med-Aid certificate. Mikayla's favorite part about the job is getting a deep connections with the residents and helping them make every day a great day! Mikayla loves to online shop and being outside with her friends and family. We are so happy to have Mikayla as our Super Hero we are so blessed to have her!

Fairmont Grand would like to do our Super Hero Shout out to Chris Cristini! Chris has been with us for almost a year. She started off as one of Personal Care Assistants now she is one of our awesome Med-Aides. Chris enjoys working with the residents and her goal is to keep their end of life as enjoyable as possible. Her favorite part of the job is helping the residents with all their needs and seeing them smile and enjoy their home. On her free time, Chris likes helping people young and old and to help them keep their heads held high and enjoy life to the fullest. We are so happy to have Chris and we feel she is a true Super Hero here at Fairmont Grand!!

Fairmont Grand is giving a shout out to our Tuesday's Super Hero., Polly Houtman! Polly has only been with us a month and we are over the moon excited to have her on our team.😊 Her compassion and work ethic are top notch. Polly's favorite part of her job is the residents and her career goal is simply to retire. In Polly's free time you will see Polly enjoying the outdoors with fishing and camping but she also likes to read and play video games. We are so pleased to have Polly on our team!

Super Hero Tuesday is here! I would like to give a big shout out to Deb Red Feather. Deb has worked here for about 4 months and she is so passionate about her job and loves the residents and her coworkers. Deb is always there to help out when needed. Deb loves her job so much she wants to retire here at Fairmont Grand. 🙂
Fairmont Grand is very blessed to have Deb as part of our team.

Fairmont Grand would like to let you know about the man that keeps things around here maintained. Jeff Adams is our Maintenance man and he goes above and beyond to make things run smoothly around here. Plus he likes to make the residents happy and helped build some really amazing garden boxes. ☺️
Jeff has worked for Fairmont Grand for over a year. He loves working with the staff and residents. His goal is to retire but until then on his free time he is a really good billiard's player.
Jeff is our Super Hero of the week! Thank you Jeff for all you do for Fairmont Grand. We appreciate all your hard work!

Super Hero Tuesday is here!
Fairmont Grand would like to give a big shout out to Lacey Ramos as our Super Hero of the week. Lacey has been with us for about four months and we are lucky to have her. Lacey loves working with the residents and enjoys sending Gods message through the facility. Lacey's career goals is to become a nurse and to teach others about God's work. On her free time Lacey enjoys hiking and working out along with attending her support groups. She likes to do arts and crafts and loves to conduct BINGO with the residents here at Fairmont Grand.
Fairmont Grand appreciates all that Lacey does. She is a true Super Hero!

Is “Cold-Shock” Curing Dementia As We Know It?
Swimming in cold water can protect the brain from degenerative diseases, such as dementia. People who regularly swim in winter have been found with a “cold-shock” protein in their blood.

The protein delays the progression of dementia and also repairs some of the damage it causes in mice. The result could guide researchers towards new drug therapies that can help keep dementia at bay.

Fairmont Grand would like to introduce you to one of our Super Hero's this Tuesday.
Alyssa has been with us since the beginning of the year. She loves her job and the best part is chatting with the residents and helping them with their needs. Alyssa's career goal is to become a CNA and a Med-Aide. In her free time she loves to watch movies with her boyfriend and coloring with the residents or on her own.
Fairmont Grand is so blessed to have such a wonderful person on our team. Alyssa is one awesome Super Hero!
