Western Resources for Independent Living has a full time position open until filled, for an Independent Living Specialist in our Spearfish office. The ILS will provide services that promote independent living to persons with disabilities. A degree in a field related to social work, psychology or counseling is preferred, however experience or college credits in the social science or human services field is acceptable. Must successfully complete a background check and fulfill all requirements for position. This position requires a valid driver's license and proof of auto insurance. Experience/Knowledge of community resources, disability and cultural issues is preferred. Must demonstrate skills in organization, time management, communication and commitment to team work. WRIL requires a valid driver’s license and you must have automobile insurance. A degree in a field related to social work, psychology or counseling is preferred; however experience or college credits in the social science or human services field is also acceptable. Must successfully complete a background check and fulfill all requirements for position. This is a full time position, 40 hour a week, Monday-Friday 8am-4:30pm, starting pay DOE.
