As the HR Director at Longmeadow, I’m incredibly proud of the strong teamwork and true family atmosphere you see at Longmeadow every single day. Our team is compassionate, hardworking, and always looking for one another—and that culture is something truly special.

What makes Longmeadow stand out to me is the genuine sense of purpose felt here. This is more than just a job—it’s a place where people truly care. A perfect example of that was Thanksgiving, when one of our nurses organized a Thanksgiving meal for employees who are unable to celebrate with their families. So many employees and managers came together to donate and contribute, simply out of kindness and support. That moment truly reflects the heart of Longmeadow.

I’ve been in HR for four years, and I absolutely love being able to help new employees grow, find their place, and build lasting relationships. Watching our team develop and succeed is one of the most rewarding parts of my role. Although I’ve only been with Longmeadow for the past three months, it has been an amazing experience—and I’m truly looking forward to many more great moments ahead.

✨ Team Spotlight: Celebrating April’s First 30 Days✨

April has officially been with us for 30 days, and what an amazing month it’s been! Her first month has truly been wonderful. She describes her first 30 days as rewarding — building new connections and seeing the smiles she’s creating every day.

When asked her favorite thing about Longmeadow so far, she shared “the bones” — the strong relationships among our long-term staff and the cozy, welcoming vibe that makes Longmeadow feel like home.

A little about April: she’s engaged, a proud mom of two daughters, and in her free time she loves crafting. She’s excited to bring her creativity into the Activity Department, and we can’t wait to see the fun ideas she adds to our programs!

We’re so grateful to have April on our team. Here’s to many more months of connection, creativity, and joy! 💛
