The closing of a chapter…or…the opening of a new one.
I’ve struggled the last few days to properly articulate what this yoga studio…the yogis who have come down my stairs have meant to me.
As I’m sure most of you have heard, there was a fire Sunday evening in a building next to my yoga studio. And while the studio didn’t suffer any fire damage, the amount of smoke and water damage was massive. With that I’ve made the tough decision to close my yoga doors earlier than expected.
It saddens my heart for all my yogis who have been so dedicated to their practice. I can’t even begin to put into words how much I have enjoyed all our time in the studio. There’s not many people who can make a 4:50am alarm enjoyable. But coming to teach you these last 9 years, has been truly one of the best experiences of my life.
Thank you for trusting me to guide you.
Thank you for allowing me space to grow and try new things.
Thank you for being your authentic selves, no matter the emotions you were coming into class with.
Thank you for every smile, every drop of sweat, every muttered cuss word when Astronaut in the Ocean came on, every breath, and every single day that you chose to live a little more in line with your intentions.
I can’t express my gratitude for each of you❤️
