Santa has been traveling all over the Ohio Valley spreading Christmas cheer! Thanks to our friends at Moundsville Healthcare Center, Forest Hill Healthcare & Rehabilitation , Beacon House Senior Living, Shadyside Healthcare & Rehabilitation, Lancia Healthcare, Belmont Manor and Gables Care Center for allowing us to visit with residents, families and staff! Yesterday we had the opportunity to attend the Ohio Valley Health Center Christmas Open House and Deck the Doors Contest. It was a wonderful event, but the best part was learning about all of the amazing services they are offering to the medically uninsured and underinsured people in our community.

Yesterday, Valley Hospice Community Liaison Chris Orris, had the opportunity to participate in Meals For Hope, organized by the United Way of Jefferson County Ohio. More than 100 volunteers donated their time to pack around 38,000 meals for Jefferson County residents. It was a true testament to the power of community and giving back. Thank you to everyone who volunteered and made this wonderful initiative possible.
