Today, we take a moment to acknowledge and honor the dedication and contributions of our local and national funeral directors and morticians.

I reflect on my entry into this esteemed profession and express gratitude to the late Honorable George B. Tennant Sr., whose legacy has paved the way for numerous individuals. I extend a special acknowledgment to Mr. Burnell Richardson for his mentorship and for providing me with the opportunity to obtain my Funeral Director's License, guiding me through the establishment process. I also appreciate Bishop Rodney McFarland Sr. for offering valuable counsel on multiple occasions, which I will continue to seek.

Additionally, I thank Mr. Simon Smith for his motivation and encouragement throughout my tenure. To our embalmer, Mr. Albert C. Robinson (AC), I express my sincere appreciation for your commitment, support, and dedication to our funeral home.
