Kicking a ball is much more than making contact with your foot! It involves a combination of physical movements, biomechanics, and coordination. Balance has to maintained on the non-kicking leg, which is typically our weakest. Weight-shifting to one side is not easy for everyone. Quads, hamstrings, glutes, calves, core, hip flexors, and upper body are all involved! Whether you’re kicking a football or soccer ball, remember that it’s no walk in the park!!

To celebrate our 10 year anniversary in Rayville, we present to you:

“Kicking Off our Next 10 Years”

Throughout the month of September, your children are encouraged to wear football/cheerleading attire to go along with the Fun and Functional activities they will be participating in. Towards the end of the month, your children’s names will be added to the helmet for a chance to win 10 Fun and Functional prizes! We cannot wait to participate in these activities with your children!!

Thank you to the wonderful parents that have trusted us over the last 10 years with the care of their children! A special thanks goes out to the Richland Parish community that has always made us feel right at home!! We look forward to serving this community for the next 10 years!!

Had a few graduations last week! These are always bittersweet! These kiddos worked hard and we couldn’t be more proud of them!!

A little late on this post, but I think it’s safe to say that everyone enjoyed shark week and beach week! We incorporated core strengthening with bilateral upper extremity coordination and the kids had a great time with it!
