No two days look the same for Karlee—and that’s exactly what makes her role so meaningful 💙

As a Case Manager in our Partial Hospitalization Program, Karlee helps patients prepare for what comes next—coordinating aftercare, connecting them with local resources, and navigating insurance needs along the way.

It’s work that requires compassion, adaptability, and a deep commitment to helping others—and it’s what inspired her to take the next step toward earning her Master’s in Social Work.

Because for Karlee, supporting patients isn’t just a job—it’s a purpose.

Stress affects more than just your mood. It influences your entire body. Ongoing stress can lead to physical symptoms such as headaches, stomach concerns, and increased blood pressure, while also impacting emotional well-being. Healthy coping strategies like exercise, quality sleep, and staying connected with others can help lessen its effects.

This month and every month, take time to understand your stress and care for yourself. https://ow.ly/Uavs50YBQrs

We may be a day late, but our gratitude is always right on time.

Yesterday, we recognized International Doctors’ Day and the incredible physicians who show up every day with compassion, skill, and unwavering dedication to patient care.

Come spend the day with Luis, our Assistant Director of Facilities.

From security to maintenance to environmental services, his teams play a vital role in keeping Tower running safely and smoothly every single day.

When asked what drives him, his answer is simple—his teams, and the impact they make on the patients we serve.

Because behind the scenes, their work makes a difference where it matters most 💙

Electroconvulsive therapy can be an important option for individuals facing severe or treatment resistant mental health conditions. ECT may also help improve things like low energy, loss of interest in daily activities, changes in appetite, and even thoughts of self-harm.

For some individuals, these improvements can happen more quickly than with other treatments, helping them regain a sense of stability and engagement in everyday life. Every journey looks different, and having access to the right level of care can make all the difference.

Our Story

Tower Behavioral Health provides targeted treatment through a mood disorders unit and a general psychiatric unit. We treat individuals who are experiencing acute crises from mental health concerns such as bipolar disorder, anxiety disorders, self-harm, psychotic disorders, suicidal ideation, posttraumatic stress disorder, and personality disorders. Our evidence-based treatment modalities include cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), behavioral activation, motivational interviewing, wellness recovery action plan (WRAP), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), mindfulness, and psychoeducation. We also provide patients with pharmacotherapy and electroconvulsive therapy (ECT) when appropriate. Multidisciplinary teams consist of psychiatrists, registered nurses, behavioral health associates, social workers, case managers, psychologists, psychotherapists, educators, and occupational therapists. Each professional carefully evaluates patients to identify their unique needs and provide customized services that best suit their circumstances.
