This week, we’re proud to recognize our incredible Parents as Teachers Home Visiting team here in Berks County!

Our dedicated Parent Educators support families from pregnancy through Kindergarten, providing guidance on:
✨ Parenting skills
✨ Child growth & development
✨ School readiness
✨ Individual family goals

Families are also connected to valuable community resources, while children benefit from free vision & hearing screenings and developmental assessments.

Beyond the home visits, families can build connections through fun, interactive group activities with others in the community. 🤝

We are so grateful for this compassionate team and the meaningful impact they make in the lives of children and families every day. 💙

💙 Care Closet Spotlight 💙

When young people come into our care, they may arrive with very few personal belongings. Our Care Closet helps ensure they have immediate access to clothing, hygiene items, and everyday necessities—so they can feel comfortable, supported, and cared for from day one.

Because of the generosity of our community, this space has grown into something truly special. Youth are able to choose items they need, giving them a sense of dignity and normalcy during a time of transition.

We are incredibly grateful to everyone who has donated and supported this effort—you are making a direct impact in the lives of the children and families we serve. 💙

We are incredibly grateful for this amazing donation from Help A Girl Out USA💗

Because of this generous community effort, we received an abundance of diapers, wipes, and feminine hygiene products that will directly support the children and families we serve every day.

These are essential items that many take for granted—but for the families in our care, they make a meaningful difference in comfort, dignity, and stability.

We’re looking for food trucks! 🚚🍔

CHOR Youth & Family Services is currently seeking food truck vendors for our upcoming Goats & Floats event on May 23rd in Muhlenberg Township.

We’re expecting a strong turnout of local families and would love to include a variety of food options for everyone to enjoy during this fun, community event!
