We often attend holistic medicine conventions, lecturing and connecting with vendors, hoping to make a difference in people's mental, physical, and spiritual health. Last weekend, we met three wonderful ladies at a major show outside NYC. They have a space next to us. I am new to the holistic environment. They were exceptional in spirit in every way: Maria Angela, Maria Teresa, and Avida. Maria Angela writes blogs I want to share a few things from her blog and there’s a link below to read them fullļæ¼ it’s very inspiring.

ā€œHeather spoke about living authentically and trusting your inner voice. As she beautifully expressed in her book My New Normal: ā€œLive through your core—your truth, your non-negotiable essence. It’s a conscious choice to stop waiting for others’ validation or permission to be yourself. That permission only comes from within. Once you grant it, everything begins to align.ā€ Her words affirmed what I’ve been learning all along—to trust myself and honor my path.ā€

ā€œI’m reminded that it is Good Friday in the Catholic faith—a day that commemorates the crucifixion and death of Jesus Christ. It is observed during Holy Week, just before Easter Sunday, and symbolizes sacrifice, redemption, and hope. Spiritually, it’s a time for reflection on love, suffering, and the promise of new beginnings.

In Love and In Light,
Angelaā€

Believe it or not, when I turned 18, I traveled as much as I could on a limited budget. I worked, saved, attended school, traveled, and repeated the process. The people I met, the places I saw, and the lessons I learned are difficult to put into words and cannot be found in any book. Unfortunately, my experiences outside the U.S. showed that some individuals abroad hold less favorable views of Americans. It seems that our culture has been intentionally shaped to foster a sense of superiority over others. Our confidence and outspoken nature, combined with a lack of awareness, have sometimes caused us to feel isolated internationally. We should strive to do better, recognizing that we are not inherently better than anyone else. Healing and understanding are essential for moving forward.

My new favorite natural medicine to work with is Osha root! My Native American medicine man introduced this to me! It has such a wonderful, intoxicating smell! I was sniffing it like a dog sniffs a steak. So good!

Historically, the root has been used as medicine by Native American and Hispanic cultures. Today, Osha is used for sore throat, bronchitis, cough, common cold, influenza, swine flu, and pneumonia. It is also used to treat other viral infections, including herpes and AIDS/HIV. Some people use it for indigestion.

It is said to ward off evil spirits and negative energy šŸ‘¹ā˜ ļøšŸ‘»

Osha contains small amounts of the chemical oxytocin! Bringing out your love hormones ā¤ļø. That’s nice 🄰 OH LA LA!
