Exciting things are happening at Berks Counseling Center!

Recently, members of our team — including administration, our MAT physician, a counselor, a peer support specialist, a department lead, and several courageous clients- gathered for an inspiring conversation with special guests Jason Snyder from Rehabilitation & Community Providers Association and Pennsylvania Senate Health and Human Services Committee Executive Director, David Burnett.

The most powerful part of the meeting? Hearing firsthand from clients about how BCC’s Medication Assisted Treatment (MAT) program is changing lives and restoring hope in recovery.

Moments like these remind us why we do this work. By sharing real stories and building strong community partnerships, we continue to raise awareness and strengthen support for mental health and addiction recovery throughout our community. 💙
