✨ Wrapping up summer with some of my favorite Cape Cod memories — ocean views, ferry rides, wildlife hikes, and of course… the lobster rolls 🦞😉.

This season was so full, and I’m grateful for every adventure.

Now I’m ready to welcome fall 🍂 and with it, another round of my Fit As a Mother group coaching program starting this October! 💪🏽💕

I can’t wait to help more moms strengthen their abs + reconnect with their pelvic floor, gain strength for lifting their kids pain free and feel at home in their bodies again bladder leakage free and loving the way their favorite jeans fit again.

Here’s to savoring the memories of summer while getting excited for what’s ahead! 🍁 Stay tuned for details about Fit As a Mother and when enrollment for my October round opens!

Nine years ago, I gave birth to my son…and I had no idea how much that moment would shape not just my motherhood, but my career.

I thought I was doing everything “right” postpartum - I went to my 6-week checkup, got cleared, and tried to jump back into workouts.

But what I really needed was guidance on how to reconnect with my core, heal my pelvic floor, and move in a way that supported my recovery.

That experience - feeling lost, frustrated, and dismissed- is what ultimately led me to become a pelvic floor physical therapist…and later, to create Fit As a Mother 💪🏽

It’s the 12-week program I wish I had back then - designed to help moms like you feel strong, supported, and confident in your body again.

💡If you’re ready to get back to workouts without pain or bladder leaks…

💡If you actually want to feel good in your clothes again - and have the energy to keep up with your little ones…

Then this is for you.

✨Enrollment opens soon!

If you’ve done any of these 👆🏽since having your baby - no shade, but it’s time for a smarter plan.

Let me show you what we do INSTEAD inside Fit As a Mother ⬆️🔥

PSA for moms “getting back in shape” after baby: you don’t have to beat yourself up to feel strong again.

✨ Start simple: daily walks and properly nourishing your body are underrated superpowers.

✨ Strength training 3–4x/week is a game changer — focus on heavier resistance, 5 sets or less, and keep reps under 10. You’re building strength, not burning yourself out.

✨ Want to add cardio? Skip the slog. Try intervals:
30 sec of pushing your heart rate (nope, you shouldn’t be able to hold a convo)
→ 1.5–2 min of recovery
→ Repeat for 2–5 rounds.

✨ And one of the most important parts? Fueling your body, not depriving it. Restrictive eating will slow your healing, zap your energy, and raise your injury risk. We’re done with that cycle.

✨ Oh — and rest days? Not optional. They’re where progress happens.
You deserve to feel good in your body — not punished by your workouts.

✋🏽STOP and read this if you’ve been caught in an endless cycle of trying to get back in shape since having your baby👇🏽

🚫 Jumping back into the workouts you were doing before having your baby is NOT the shortcut to getting in shape faster

It’s a tough pill to swallow, but I’m here to deliver the truth, not just what’s easy to digest.

⚖️ Maybe there’s a time and a place for getting back to those HIIT classes at the gym like once you have addressed healing and have worked to strengthen your postpartum body, but beyond that? It’s a dead end.

👉🏽I want to tell you about my client, Brittany who joined Fit As a Mother when she was a little over 8 weeks postpartum with her 3rd child. She was struggling with back pain and uncertainty about how to strengthen her core and find the time with her busy schedule with the kids.

At the time she was getting back to working out on her spin bike, which wasn’t helping her c-section recovery nor improve the strength in her body for lifting and carrying her kids.

In her 8 weeks of doing Fit As a Mother which includes weekly total body strength workouts, she went from having back pain and not doing and strength exercises to loving her weekly strength workouts and was able to lift her kids pain free!

And this is just one example. I’ve helped a number of clients  who are exhausted from trying to get back in shape post baby through different fitness apps, cardio workouts, and classes at the gym….

They come to me feeling discouraged and unmotivated but leave feeling EMPOWERED, CONFIDENT, and EXCITED to do strength workouts

In Fit As a Mother, I break down the essentials:
* Getting back to an alignment and posture that supports you best for carrying your child and working out injury free
* Connection with your pelvic floor and deep core BEFORE getting back to workouts
* Most effective core and total body strength exercises for postpartum
.. all designed to help you chase after your kids and get back to workouts you love without pain or bladder leakage

ONE THING I wish I knew more about after the birth of my son is⬇️

📣It is completely normal to still look pregnant after you just delivered your baby

☝🏽This picture was taken 5 days after I delivered my son and I remember feeling confused about how my belly still looked like I was pregnant…

It wasn’t until I stopped breastfeeding that I started to feel like my body was looking more like how it did pre pregnancy, but I still felt uncertain about how quickly and intensely to address strengthening my abs

After years specializing as an orthopedic/sports physical therapist, I decided while I was postpartum to begin specializing in pelvic floor physical therapy

That’s when my mind was blown about appropriate postpartum recovery and it soon became my mission to help other postpartum women learn the same!

If you had a baby within the past year or so and are trying to get flatter and more toned (ie. stronger) abs understand that 👇🏽

👉🏽If you delivered your baby vaginally, your pelvic floor muscles stretched 4x their resting length and take time to return to a more supportive length ⬇️

👉🏽therefore leaving your abs dominant over your pelvic floor muscles for many weeks to months

✨For THIS ⬆️reason learning how to properly coordinate your pelvic floor muscles is vital for optimal core strength.

👉🏽If you delivered your baby via c-section, the scar tissue that develops after will make it more difficult to access your deep core muscles to effectively get stronger abs…

As a pelvic floor physical therapist I can’t stress enough the importance of learning how to properly coordinate and strengthen your core again after baby

Which is why I decided to create a FREE masterclass to show you how to achieve this!
