Berks County TASC Serving the uninsured and publicly insured of Berks County, PA. Assessment and Treatment Referral; MH Case Management; Recovery Support Services.

Berks County TASC is a non-profit human services agency serving the uninsured and publicly insured residents of Berks County, Pennsylvania. TASC provides drug/alcohol intake assessments and referrals to all levels of care/treatment. TASC has a Mental Health Case Management Unit, with 5 full-time case managers. TASC also has a Recovery Support Services Unit, with 5 staff, providing addiction peer support to individuals new to recovery. TASC operates a 24 hour Opiate Overdose Survivor Hotline. Recovery Support Specialists will meet with survivors in the community and at Reading Hospital's ECU and Penn State St. Joseph's ER, at the patient or family's request.

We are proud to announce Ebony McNeil, MA is the new Clinical Director of Berks TASC, where he is responsible for the oversight, accuracy, and thoroughness of drug and alcohol screenings, clinical assessments, and treatment referrals. He brings a compassionate, people-first approach shaped by experience in social services, higher education, financial services, and behavioral health. Ebony is passionate about creating supportive systems that help individuals feel understood, respected, and empowered as they take next steps toward wellness and stability.
