If your child only falls apart with you, it’s usually not personal.
Many kids spend the whole day holding it together at school, activities, and social settings. That takes a huge amount of nervous system effort.
When they finally get home to the place where they feel safest, the system releases. That’s when you might see meltdowns, clinginess, silliness, or sudden anger.
It doesn’t mean you’re getting the worst version of your child. Often, you’re getting the safest one. 🤍
If the after-school crash feels intense or happens every day, it may be a sign their nervous system is running at capacity.
Pediatric chiropractic care helps support regulation so kids have more capacity to handle the demands of their day.
If this sounds familiar in your home, schedule an evaluation and let’s take a closer look. 🌿
