I tried this route a dozen time and couldn’t get past the third move. Then after stopping (again) and looking at it I thought “ What if I put my left foot there?” All of a sudden it was like I had completed it a million times. Sometimes just looking at your problem from a different angle is all you need.

During a “Nature Tots” hike yesterday I told “S” that Sprout loved to chew on sticks. She handed me the long stick she was carrying and asked me to take it home for him. Later on “L” who is very shy and never spoke to me came up and handed me another stick. His mom said he wanted to give me the stick because he overheard Sprout liked chewing on them. My hikers are awesome at every age.
