I loved interviewing , one of the primary researchers on the Neuroception of Psychological Safety Scale. It’s a 29 part scale, rooted in Polyvagal Theory, and helps assess feelings of safety in our clients. She also just published another book, Beyond The Medical Gaze!

It was like a HUGE relief and breath of fresh air as some of my clients surprised me this week. It was the first pause in -19 processing that I’ve experienced in weeks. It was like instantaneous relief and simultaneously joy. And it reminded me... life still is going on around us and even good things are unfolding. We just need to make some BIG space to experience them!
