Anchors Away!! Generations is giving away a $2500 Carnival Cruise vacation including 5 days of vacation pay in a drawing which will be held on January of 2026. Generations lost a dear friend and resident today, Ms. Virginia Abbott. Her family and friends have requested that the facility share her arrangements. Visitation will be held at Deaton Funeral Home in Red Bay on Sunday, August 31 at 3:00 PM with service to follow at 4:00 PM Brother Jerry Ginn officiating. Ms. Abbott was dearly loved and will be greatly missed. There are special people in our lives that never leave us even after they are gone. Ms. Abbott was one of those people.
