Kiwanis of Red Bluff hosted a fun fair for kids under 12 and a chili cook-off with a cornbread contest. Kiwanis Clubs from all over came to participate in the chili cook-off. Entries in the cornbread contest were made by members of the Key Clubs. (Most Kiwanis Clubs have a high school auxiliary which helps them out at events.)
Every one had a great time and it was wonderful to see how many different Kiwanis clubs participated.

On the 1st Sunday of December, Oak Hill Cemetery has a luminary program with caroling by Red Bluff High choir, hot cocoa and cookies, and a chance to buy a luminary bag to put on a grave in remembrance of that person. It is beautiful when darkness fals and all the lighted bags can be seen throughout the cemetery.
Every year we put a luminary bag by the graves of people we held services for that year. Some of their deaths are too recent to have a marker, but we place it on their spot.
