Clarks Fork Valley (Bridger) Ambulance member Everett Edwards succumbed to injuries sustained in an on-duty ambulance-related crash on June 16, 2025. He was a long-time, dedicated volunteer with the EMS service and a past member of the Fromberg Volunteer Fire department.
A service will take place on Friday, June 27, 2025 at 1100 am at the Fromberg Public School Gymnasium.

Neighbors helping neighbors again.

Red Lodge Engine 75 and a crew of four Red Lodge Firefighters will be headed to California tomorrow, Saturday, Jan 11. They will be part of two strike teams from Montana answering the call of our distant neighbors in need. Capt. Will Bernard will be traveling with them as a strike team leader. We are honored to be able to send some of our best to help.
Travel safely and do good work team!

Carbon County EMS Levy Update

Tuesday morning, Aug 27, the Carbon County Commissioners voted to create the Carbon County Emergency Medical Services Board. This board will consist of 7 members who will establish guidelines and expectations for the operation of EMS agencies in Carbon County, allocate the County EMS levy funds and negotiate and recommend contracts for EMS Services among other duties. Applications for board members will be taken in October. More Information will be coming soon.

Levy funds will be available for distribution later this year.

Welcome Dr. Ortiz!

Joliet EMS is excited to announce our new Medical Director, Dr. Jose Ortiz. He's a physician at Beartooth Billings Clinic and has many years experience with rural EMS. We're fortunate to have him and he's excited to get involved with our trainings, protocols and our community! Welcome Dr. Ortiz!
