🚫 Before You Jump Into Another Fad Detox… Read This. 🚫

Every influencer is shouting about “detoxing” right now — juice cleanses, extreme fasting, powders, potions, you name it.

But here’s the truth most people never hear:

Many bodies are not ready to detox — and certain trendy detoxes can actually make things worse.

Take juice cleanses, for example 👇
They’re often loaded with natural sugars that spike blood sugar, trigger inflammation, and lead to major energy crashes.
And here’s the big reality check:
Juicing does not pull toxins out of your cells or tissues.
In some cases, it stirs things up in the wrong way.

Why this matters:
God designed the body brilliantly. When toxins can’t be safely eliminated, the body protects you by storing them deep in tissues, fat, muscle, and even bone.
But if your internal barriers (gut, brain, etc.) are compromised, releasing toxins into the bloodstream too quickly can lead to serious symptoms.

Side note: If you’re dealing with osteoporosis, it’s extra important to preserve bone integrity while keeping your barriers healthy. 🎄 Holiday Wellness Without Missing the Fun 🎄

Sticking to your plan this season doesn’t mean sacrificing the celebration — it just means choosing simple swaps that help you feel good during and after the holidays.

✨ 1. Choose color from food, not dyes.
Skip artificial food dyes when possible — if you need color, Watkins makes great food coloring made from real foods.

✨ 2. Build your plate around veggies + protein (especially at breakfast!).
A protein-rich morning helps stabilize blood sugar, prevents the afternoon crash, and curbs those 3 p.m. cravings before they even start.

✨ 3. Cook with clean, nourishing fats.
Use bone broth for soups and gravies, and choose healthy fats like olive oil (low heat), avocado oil, coconut oil, beef tallow, or grass-fed butter.
👉 Skip inflammatory seed oils like vegetable, canola, corn, and soy.

✨ 4. Make your own dips instead of buying packaged ones.
Homemade dips with real ingredients are free of preservatives, MSG, artificial thickeners, and inflammatory oils.
Pair them with fresh veggies instead of processed chips for a surprisingly satisfying swap.

✨ 5. Avoid “hidden ingredient” soups like canned cream of mushroom.

Tylenol (acetaminophen) has never been ideal — and it should never be used lightly.
