🎉 Member of the Month - Amy Baldwin! 🎉

Amy’s been a pillar in this gym’s community for many years. The consistency and effort she puts in is inspiring. As is her story:

“My fitness journey began 14 years ago when I decided to get in shape, which started with losing 100 lbs. I started hiking, kayaking, backpacking and just being more active. Nine years ago, I decided to join this gym to prepare myself to be as strong as possible as I aged, both mentally and physically! A couple years later I lost my husband which was difficult, but I had a great place to come and rejuvenate. I was never sorry that I pushed myself to get to the gym!

Last November, I started working with Caleb to dial in my eating habits which has been a very satisfying and eye-opening experience. It didn’t seem feasible that by eating so much protein (and hence calories), I could successfully lose pounds, lose body fat, and build muscle mass. Using the advice, ongoing support and encouragement from everyone at Smitty Built, but especially Caleb and Colin, I am proud of the results. I am forever grateful that I am a member of Smitty Built Fitness. Now 72 years old, I feel healthy and better prepared to face more years! As my husband would joke, I am a “gym rat”.”
