At Sundial, we seek to enhance interpersonal relationships, hone communication skills, and cultivate the value of elders as mentors and wise counsel in our community. Our role is to provide assistance and support to help you be the best you can be and to live your life with the fullness you desire and deserve.

✨ The beginning of something so special… ✨

Before the dancing started… before the crowns were placed… there were quiet, beautiful moments.

Hair being curled.
Makeup gently brushed on.
Corsages carefully pinned.
Hands held.
Smiles shared.

Our Sweethearts Senior Prom began with intention, love, and so much community support.

A heartfelt thank you to the incredible people who helped bring this day to life:

🎶 for volunteering as our DJ and for truly connecting with our residents in such a meaningful way

👗 for providing beautiful formal wear so our residents could feel glam and elegant

💞 Our families who came, volunteered, and celebrated alongside their loved ones

🤍 And our entire Sundial staff who helped plan, prepare, decorate, and lovingly pull it all together

A very special THANK YOU to American Cancer Society Discovery Shop/Redding for helping make our Sweethearts Senior Prom possible. 💕✨

They generously allowed us to borrow a beautiful selection of formal wear for our residents so they can feel elegant, confident, and celebrated on prom day. Having access to dresses, jackets, and accessories truly helps bring this experience to life for those who may not have formal attire of their own.

We are so grateful for community partners like Discovery Shop who are willing to step in and help us create meaningful moments for our residents.

Our residents enjoyed a special Valentine’s Day meal prepared with care by our amazing culinary team. From the beautifully plated dinner to the festive table settings, the evening was all about creating a warm, meaningful experience for those who call our community home.

Moments like these remind us that dining is not just about food. It’s about connection, comfort, and making holidays feel special.

Sweethearts Senior Prom is happening at Sundial! 💕✨
We’re so excited to be hosting a special Sweethearts Senior Prom for our residents on Monday, February 23 at 1:30 PM. This event is all about creating a joyful afternoon filled with music, photos, flowers, and dressing up — giving our residents a chance to experience prom or relive beautiful memories.

Community involvement has already been so heartwarming, and we are incredibly grateful.

If you would like to:
• Volunteer during the event
• Help with setup beforehand
• Donate formal attire or accessories
• Support in another way

We would love to hear from you.

Community members are also welcome to stop by and experience the joy of the event with our residents.

A beautiful and emotional moment honoring our resident and veteran, Bob Hovis 🇺🇸

With the help of Bristol Hospice, Bob was recognized through their Veteran Honor Program with a certificate, service coin, and time set aside to truly honor his service.

Moments like this remind us how important it is to pause, remember, and say thank you. 💙

Today, we had the honor of witnessing a truly meaningful moment. 🇺🇸

Through Bristol Hospice’s Veteran Honor Program, our resident and veteran Bob Hovis was recognized for his service, sacrifice, and life.
Surrounded by fellow residents, team members, his daughter, and the Bristol Hospice team, Bob was presented with a certificate, a service-specific coin, and heartfelt words of gratitude. There were tears, respect, and so much love in the room.

Thank you, Bob, for your service. We are honored to know you. 💙
