OFFICE CLOSURE-Please Read

It is with a very sad heart that starting on March 23rd I have decided to temporarily close my practice in order to comply with our Governor’s orders to Shelter in Place. This decision did not come easy and while it was the hardest decision I have had to make in 10 years of practice, I feel it is the best choice for the safety of my patients and my family.

There is much gray area as to whether or not acupuncture services are considered essential, but there are many reasons why I have decided this is the best choice. Due to the fact that Radiant Sun Acupuncture has such a high daily patient volume, many of whom are in the high risk category, we are not able to ensure that there will be no cross patient interaction. It has also become apparent that homeschooling and keeping two young children stable and happy during this unknown time requires my full attention. Lastly, my office manager (my mom) is immune compromised due to her Multiple Sclerosis and it is nearly impossible to run my office without her. At this time we are hoping to open again on April 14th but this date may change if needed.
We understand for many of you this will be very hard on your health, but we are available to schedule phone calls, and we are always available on email to answer any questions or concerns you might have during this closure. If you have appointments scheduled in the next three weeks please consider them cancelled. We will not be rescheduling until we have a firm opening date.

We will continue selling herbs, essential oils, and CBD for pickup or mail out, because keeping your immune system and mental stability strong during this unknown time is highly important. Please email or call us to place an order.

Yes, Radiant Sun Acupuncture is open, but we are taking it day by day and following government recommendations. During this time of uncertainty for our community, country and the world we feel it necessary to further address the COVID-19 situation. In an effort to prevent viral spread, we are asking that if you have a fever, cough or other flu symptoms, or you have been exposed to someone who is ill, please be respectful and reschedule your appointment. We are waiving all cancel fees at this time.
In an effort to minimize exposure in our waiting room, if you have a caregiver or child with you they will be asked to wait in the room with you instead of the waiting room. We will continue to take extra sanitary and disinfectant precautions in our office and treatment rooms.
Because of school closures, we may have to reduce hours, but will let you know in advance. Erica’s children will be in the office on some days if this is a concern for you.
Remember all of our immunity supplements are 20 % off and our CBD products are 10% off. We can ship these out to you if you are uncomfortable coming in or can have an order ready for pickup if you call or email us. Erica is also working to have herbal consultations by Zoom available soon.
If you do feel comfortable coming in for treatments, we cannot emphasize the value of doing so. There are numerous studies showing how Traditional Chinese Medicine is helping with COVID-19. Keeping your immunity high and stress level low are an important part of preventing COVID-19 in yourself.
