Congratulations to Fred W., who won Best Resident Costume as Phantom of the Opera, and Eden, who won Best Associate Costume as the Joker. We're looking forward to next year's costumes already!

🗳️ Civic engagement in action! The Redding, CT Registrar visited Meadow Ridge to help galvanize voter turnout and share valuable information about their vital role in our community.

From registering new voters and maintaining records to overseeing elections and training poll workers, their office helps ensure every vote is counted and every election runs smoothly.

📚 Residents Judy H., co-author of “Centers of the Self: Stories by Black American Women, from the Nineteenth Century to the Present,” and Pat B., author of “A Life Worth Living,” bring remarkable depth and creativity to our community.

Judy’s anthology highlights the powerful voices of America’s finest Black women writers, while Pat’s heartfelt memoir in poetry reflects on work, relationships and rising beyond early challenges.

Their artistry and perspectives enrich Meadow Ridge, reminding us how writing connects generations, captures experiences and inspires reflection. 💫

💗 Our Wear Pink Mix & Mingle filled the three-story atrium with warmth and color. Surrounded by lush trees and plants dotted with pink, friends and neighbors gathered for an afternoon to honor breast cancer survivors and remember those we’ve lost.

We’re proud to stand with everyone whose lives have been touched by a breast cancer diagnosis during . 💕

Like many young couples, residents Nick and Jody L. began their marriage with more love than money. After saying “I do," they set off on a honeymoon road trip to New Orleans. When they discovered their credit card wasn’t accepted, they laughed it off—earning a free dinner by sitting through a timeshare presentation.

It may not have been fancy, but it was unforgettable—just like the life they’ve shared ever since. 💕

🎉 Our lush, three-story atrium drew a lively crowd of eager residents at our Clubs & Committee Fair! They perused the many options to get involved, stay connected and make a difference across our beautiful campus.

Representatives were on hand from resident-run clubs and committees, including the Finance Committee (Jack N. & Bob T.), Health Services Committee (David D., Carol B. & Nancy P.), Food & Beverage Committee (Jane N. & Lynn S.), Scholarship Fund Committee (John C. & Carol R.), Outdoor Sports Committee (John S. & Rose J.) and Library Committee (Susan M. & Bob G.). Along with countless other clubs and interest groups, there’s truly a way for everyone to find their place and get involved.
