Weaverville Community Forest OHV Survey - Make your voice heard!


The Trinity County Resource Conservation District will be running a survey from January 14th through February 14th to assess the habits of OHV users in the area and the opinions of local trail users near Weaver Bally Road. This survey is completely anonymous and will only ask for basic demographic information.

It’s almost here… RDR’s annual New Year’s Day Poker Run!
The club members are busy and we are ready to ring in 2026 with you!!

2026 Poker Run Update:

1. It is New Years Day🤔😂. 1/1/26.

2. This event is NOT a race although evey year people think it is a race. Enjoy the day with family and friends. Take photos of your friends if they fall over. Bonus points for a pictures with bikes ontop of riders.💪😂💪😂

3. The goal is a course that will be longer than past years. Plan on 35-45 miles for your gas needs. Distance is always subject to change based on weather.

4. First motorcycle rider out at 9:30A.M. sharp. If you ride a motorcycle and do not want to be behind SXS, it is imperative and on the rider you are in line before the SXS’s leave. If you are hung over and late from celebrating the night before, doom on you😂💪😂💪.

5. SXS will be held for a minimum of 30 minutes after first motorcycle out. If a motorcyke rider wants to ride with thier SXS family/friends know it will be a bit slower for you but still great fun.

6. Ride with a friend and come self contained.

7. SXS people…..check your rear view mirrors often and allow motorcycles to pass as soon as practical. It will make a better experience for all involved.

8. At poker run checks, motorcycles are asked filter towards the front of a checkpoint to keep things moving smoothly.

The crew was out prepping the track and getting some last cuts done for our club ride coming up soon.
Dirt was epic and solid crew turned out. See you guys out there soon for S2R 2025!
