This year, we faced unexpected circumstances that made it impossible to hold our annual fundraiser—an event that is essential to sustaining Life Light’s ministry and providing resources for the families we serve.

Yet even without the event… God provided!

Your generosity, prayers, and steadfast support enabled us to meet our funding goals, matching what we would have received from the event!

We are truly overwhelmed by your kindness and reminded that this ministry is not upheld by a single event or only a few individuals. Instead, it thrives because of a caring community that believes in hope, life, and love.

“…Mom life lately, thoughts.

They say your life ends when you have kids.

And in a way, it does. But not in the way you think.

The late nights out just because. The empty pursuits that once felt important. The version of yourself that only had to think about you.

The selfish parts. That life ends.

But in its place, something beautiful begins. A life literally in technicolor, with purpose, with love so deep it rewrites who you are. Little hands reaching for yours, sleepy whispers of ‘I love you,’ laughter filling spaces you never even realized were quiet before.

So, no, life didn’t end when I had my babies. It finally began.”

While the world often judges worth by ability, personality, appearance, or perfection, God measures our worth by having fearfully and wonderfully created us in His image. His ways are not ours, His plans differ from ours, and His timing is perfect. God never changes and makes no mistakes.

During Down Syndrome Awareness Month, we honor the beauty and individuality of every child. Where society might see a ‘burden,’ ‘worthlessness,’ or ‘hopelessness,’ we choose to see resilience, priceless worth, and hope.

Did you know?
Babies with Down Syndrome are aborted
• 100% in Iceland
• 95-99% in Denmark
• 93% in Australia
• 90% in China, England, and Wales
• 67-85% in the USA

Having an extra chromosome should not be a death sentence; these are human beings who have the same value and worth as everyone else.

While our love for our children is deep, God's love for them is even greater. Every detail of a child's life is guided by an all-knowing Creator who made them with a unique purpose for this exact time. He has also chosen and equipped you to be their parent. Oh, how marvelous and wonderful is our Savior’s love! 🤍
