Residents explored Putnam Memorial State Park right here in Redding, CT—just a short drive from our campus—where Revolutionary War soldiers camped through the winter of 1778–79.

Surrounded by original stone chimneys and preserved “Old Camp” grounds, they reflected on the grit and endurance of General Israel Putnam’s troops. Many shared how inspiring and memorable the experience was, with several already looking forward to their next visit.
