Last week was both full-circle and forward-moving. I had the honor of attending the 45th Spring Planning Meeting with the Benedict College National Alumni Association, a space filled with purpose, leadership, and legacy. From meaningful conversations to powerful connections, it was a reminder that growth happens in community.

I’m proud to serve as Detroit Alumni Club President and grateful to share that I’ve been reelected as the 2026–2028 Mid-Western Regional VP. It was also a pleasure to officially meet Dr. Roslyn Clark Artis (President and CEO of Benedict College), a dynamic leader continuing to elevate the legacy of Benedict College.

Benedict is where my journey in mental health began, earning my BA in Psychology in 2012, and it continues to shape how I show up, serve, and lead with intention. The work is legacy. The growth is lifelong. 💛🐯💜
