Many hospitals and healthcare organizations are getting ready to distribute the vaccine to people in their community. We still must be vigilant against the coronavirus even after we get the vaccine. HubMD is dedicated in the safety and wellbeing of our community and healthcare professionals who are treating COVID-19 patients. We will continue to support and assist wherever they are.

The Coronavirus pandemic is growing and spreading rapidly as the death tolls keep rising. The Coronavirus pandemic has taken the lives of many citizens in the United States and around the world. We must to be diligent with our personal hygiene like wearing masking and washing hands to prevent the spread of COVID-19 in our communities. There is little doubt that telemedicine can expand healthcare access for all patients but we have not fully understood how effective that care will be. It will depend on how well we implement, train and assess. Telemedicine fills a glaring gap in vulnerable populations because it enables patients who lack access to care due to unemployment, disabilities, limited means for transportation etc. to have access to physicians and healthcare services. We are dedicated in providing that resource to safety net communities through virtual care strategies and virtual medical recommendations. CEO Dr. Stanley Frencher shared that a HubMD urologist was able to use the Cloudbreak application and local marti cart to triage a hematuria (blood in the urine) eConsult while finishing a surgery at another hospital. The nursing staff and referring primary care provider (P*P) who needed to admit the patient from a nursing home, along with the ED doc who was able to manage the patient confidently, were all thrilled. We are proud to be a virtual group of Smart, Kind, Brave specialists who provide excellent medical advice to P*Ps and care to patients.
