Today we’re celebrating National Women Physicians Day 💚
At Garden Pediatrics, that’s means our own Dr. Cameo Carter, MD, board-certified in pediatrics and obesity medicine, business owner, and a fierce advocate for kids and families.

Being a woman physician means wearing a lot of hats: doctor, leader, problem-solver, listener, and often mom, too. It means showing up with science and heart, caring deeply for patients while also working to make healthcare better and more humane.
We’re proud to be led by a woman who believes kids deserve thoughtful, evidence-based care, families deserve to feel heard, and medicine should grow alongside the community it serves.

Today we’re honoring Dr. Carter and all the women physicians out there doing the work, day in and day out. ✨

Thank you to for your delicious food and warm hospitality. We had our annual holiday dinner and enjoyed our time with you so much! Grateful to our entire staff - we’re so happy to hang out with all that could make it. Another year almost in the books!

At Garden Pediatrics, we’ll meet you where you’re at.
✨ Literally.

Some kids feel safest outside in the sunshine.
Some do best in the cab of their favorite truck.
Some will only let us check their foot while they hide behind the dinosaur table. 😉
And that’s okay with us.

Your child’s comfort isn’t an obstacle, it’s our roadmap.

We adapt, follow their lead, and shape each visit around what helps them feel safe. If they don’t look forward to the visit (our first hope), we want them to at least feel understood, supported, and able to tolerate it with ease.

Every kid is different.
Every exam can be different.
And we’re here for all of it.

We will be closed Thanksgiving Thursday and Friday and will open again with normal office hours Monday, December 1.
