Robert Willard Ho**er
Thursday, February 1, 1945 ~ Tuesday, March 17, 2026
Robert Willard Ho**er, known to many as Bob, passed away peacefully in his sleep on March 17, 2026, at the age of 81.
Born on February 1, 1945, in Highland, California, Bob was raised in the community he would always consider home. Though he spent most of his years in Arizona, he returned to Highland in recent years, reconnecting with his roots and the place that helped shape his life. Early in his life he was raised on an orange grove, became a cub scout, moved on to boy scout where he reached the rank of Eagle Scout and became Chief of the Order of the Arrow.
After a brief stint in the United States Air Force with the 1365th Photographic Squadron, Bob dedicated much of his life to a long and respected career in the energy industry. He worked for Southern California Edison for 31 years, serving as a shift supervisor where he was known for his leadership, reliability, and strong work ethic. After retiring, Bob continued to contribute his expertise as a safety manager with Pacific Technical Resources for 18 years, demonstrating his enduring commitment to his profession and to the well-being of those around him.
In addition to his professional life, Bob was deeply committed to serving others. He spent many years as a volunteer firefighter in Bullhead City, Arizona, and was a proud member of the Northern Arizona Firefighters Association. He found great joy in the outdoors, spending time camping, boating, and fishing whenever he could. Bob also had a passion for photography, for collecting fi****ms and was rarely without a loyal dog by his side—companionship that brought him great comfort and happiness throughout his life.
Bob was preceded in death by his parents, Robert E. Ho**er and Elva Murray.
He is survived by his brother, Tom (Elaine) Ho**er of Williams, Arizona; his daughter, Jennifer (Luke) Erlenbusch of Irving, Texas; and his son, Ryan Ho**er of Costa Mesa, California. He also leaves behind his cherished grandchildren, Kylie (Trace) Tschida, Sarah Erlenbusch, and Andrew Erlenbusch; as well as his nephew, Colter (Jill) Ho**er, and great-nephew, Jaxon Ho**er.
Bob will be remembered for his dedication, his steady presence, and the lasting impact he made through his work, his service, and the many lives he touched.
Bob will be cremated through Cedar Memorial Funeral Home in Redlands, with internment in the Ho**er Family plot at Hillside Cemetery at a date and time to be determined.

Today we recognize the people who quietly serve families during some of the hardest moments of their lives. On *National Funeral Director and Mortician Recognition Day*, we honor the compassion, dedication, and care that funeral directors and morticians bring to their work every single day.

Behind every service is someone who is guiding families with patience, kindness, and respect. You help create space for grief, remembrance, and healing while treating every life with the dignity it deserves. The long hours, the emotional weight, and the attention to every detail often go unseen, but the impact you make on families lasts forever.

Thank you for being the steady hands and caring hearts that support communities when they need it most, and thank you to the two men that run Cedar Memorial and bring compassion to those who need it the most. Glenn and Hani, we recognize you!🖤

Grief looks different for everyone.

Some days feel heavy. Others bring unexpected moments of peace, gratitude, or even laughter when a favorite memory surfaces. All of it is part of the journey.

At Cedar Memorial, we are honored to walk alongside families not only in moments of loss, but in the days and months that follow. Whether you are remembering a loved one, visiting their resting place, or simply carrying them in your heart, know that your feelings are valid and you are not alone.

This week, we encourage you to reach out — share a story, light a candle, or check in on someone who may be missing a loved one.

Community, compassion, and remembrance matter every day.

March is Women’s History Month — a time to honor the strength, compassion, and lasting impact of women in our families and our community.

At Cedar Memorial, we are privileged to help families celebrate the lives of mothers, grandmothers, sisters, daughters, veterans, leaders, caregivers, and pioneers whose stories continue to shape generations. Their love, resilience, and dedication leave legacies that live on in the hearts of those they touched.

This month, we encourage you to reflect on the women who have influenced your life — to share their stories, preserve their history, and celebrate the meaningful difference they made.

Every life tells a story. This month, we proudly honor the stories of women.

Every drop makes a difference. ❤️

At Cedar Memorial, we see firsthand how blood donation saves lives. From patients undergoing surgery to those receiving cancer treatments or emergency care, donated blood is often the critical resource that gives families more time, more memories, and more hope.

Just one blood donation can help multiple patients in need. It’s a simple act of generosity that can mean everything to someone facing a medical crisis.

We encourage our community to consider donating blood and being a part of something truly life-saving. Your compassion today could be someone else’s tomorrow.

Stay tuned for a Blood Drive at Cedar Memorial in Redlands. Together, we can make a lasting impact.
