In honor of Volunteer Week, we’re proud to spotlight one of our incredible Junior Volunteers, Victoria Montaghami 💙

Since her very first shift at just 15-years-old, Victoria has made a lasting impact at Redlands Community Hospital. What began with helping a mother and newborn on discharge sparked a passion for learning and serving others. Nearly three years later, she’s grown into a leader, trainer, mentor, and even earned Rookie of the Year!

With dreams of studying Global Health Policy, Victoria is committed to paying forward the support she’s received. As she reflects, “Even the smallest acts of kindness matter… outstanding care is never the work of just one person.”

We thank Victoria for her compassion and dedication—we can’t wait to see all that she accomplishes! 🌟

In honor of Volunteer Week, we’re celebrating the incredible dedication of Paul Johnson, RCH Goodwill Ambassador Shuttle Driver 🚐💙

Inspired by his mother’s example of service, Paul began volunteering at Redlands Community Hospital after retirement and found his calling behind the wheel of the shuttle. Seventeen years later, he’s still going strong and delivering smiles with every mile.
“I feel better as a person because I’m serving my community, and people are so grateful and appreciative,” Paul shares. And he’s not slowing down anytime soon: “I’ll continue to do this for as long as I can.”

Here’s to another 17 years of impact, thank you, Paul! 🙌

“For 26 years, my heart has been firmly rooted in pediatric Occupational Therapy. Celebrating Autism Awareness Month is about more than just recognition; it is about the journey from awareness to true acceptance.
In my two and a half decades of partnering with children and their families, my mission has remained the same: to empower parents and caregivers as they navigate the complexities of neurodevelopmental delays. Together, we work to bridge the gap between challenge and independence, transforming daily life skills into milestones of success. It is a privilege to advocate for these incredible children and to support the families who provide the foundation for their growth and belonging.”

Redlands Community Hospital (RCH) offers Ion by Intuitive, an advanced minimally-invasive lung biopsy and the da Vinci 5 surgical system. The technology allows physicians to reach more tissue with better precision to detect lung cancer and operate on the patient with the latest minimally invasive technology. This advanced technology allows surgeons to quickly identify, assess, treat lung cancer, and other ailments in their early stages, which can lead to faster recovery and better health outcomes.
