Redlands Community Hospital is proud to announce that our Spine & Joint Institute (SJI) has been named among the top 100 Neuro / Spine Programs in the nation by Becker's Hospital Review.

Year after year, SJI has been ranked among the top facilities in the nation. From diagnosis, treatment to rehabilitation, the program brings together a comprehensive team of doctors, nurses, physical therapists and more, that provide a highly coordinated program that consistently provides high quality outcomes that provide patients with a speedy recovery and return to mobility.

Certified Nursing Assistants (CNA) are a crucial part of providing Maternal Care. Redlands Community Hospital is proud to welcome our new Chief Executive Officer Adam Thunell.

Most recently Thunell served as senior vice president and Chief Operating Officer for Community Memorial Healthcare in Ventura, California. He oversaw system-wide hospital and ambulatory operations, while strengthening physician partnerships and advancing long-term strategic planning efforts. He led major building and modernization projects, including the construction of a new acute-care hospital in Ventura and extensive updates to facilities in Ojai.

Prior to joining Community Memorial, Thunell held key leadership roles at Cottage Health in Santa Barbara, California and Fairview Health Services in Minneapolis, Minnesota, where he built a reputation for collaborative leadership, operational excellence, and dedication to expanding access to care.

“We look forward to the vision, compassion, and energy Adam brings to his new role as he leads our organization into its next chapter of growth and service,” said Carol Snodgress, chair of the Redlands Community Hospital Board of Directors. “Adam brings years of leadership that will give RCH the opportunity to further expand and improve high quality care for even more members of our community.”

Cold and flu season is among us, but an infection can be prevented. According to the Center for Disease Control and Prevention, the best ways to avoid getting ill include:

• Get a flu vaccine
• Avoid close contact with other people when sick
• Stay home when you are sick
• Cover your mouth and nose when coughing or sneezing
• Avoid spreading germs by not touching your hands, nose or mouth
• Wash your hands often
• Improve ventilation, open windows to allow clean air into spaces, use air purifier indoors or meet and gather with others outside

Redlands Community Hospital wishes our community the happiest of holidays 🎄✨! “Babies in Stockings” has been a years-long festive tradition in our maternal unit, celebrating babies born during the holiday season 🧦👶💖. Each little one born during the month receives a one-of-a-kind, hand-sewn stocking made just for them. A heartfelt thank you to our incredible sewing community for keeping this cherished tradition alive year after year 🧵 ❤️!
