Happy Halloween!

If you feel you have a baby shark on your hands and breastfeeding is painful for you, I can help! I work in conjunction with lactation specialists to improve the experience for both you and your child. Many times, difficulty latching or biting down can be caused by joint restrictions in babies' spines and/or jaws. Palate shape, range of motion, and many other factors can also play a role here. So if you are having any issues give me a call!

What is torticollis?

Do you notice your child's head is typically tilted to the side, or they favor 1 direction turning their head? They may have torticollis, a very common condition in young ones!

But no worries! Often there is a joint or muscular restriction behind this condition, which are very treatable with bodywork!

Torticollis in infants is common —some studies report that it affects 3 in every 100 babies. Fortunately, in most cases infant torticollis is easily treatable.

Now offering home visits! I will come to you, of course being very mindful of COVID-19 precautions. I will be wearing a mask throughout the entire visit, sanitizing, and putting on clean gloves as I enter your home to prevent bringing in any germs with me! If the weather is nice and you prefer, we can also do the visit outside. I will bring anything I need with me so all you need is a soft surface we can work on (whether that is a bed, couch, or even a carpeted floor).
