Some moments remind us we don’t have to carry grief alone.

Our recent Light Up a Life event at the SCP Hotel in Redmond was one of those beautiful, sacred evenings. Coming together to honor and remember our lost loved ones is always a powerful experience, but this year felt especially moving.

Hearing guests share that they “simply needed this” reminds us why we hold this space every year. It isn’t just about looking back; it’s about finding the light and healing together.

Thank you to everyone who joined us and shared their stories and their hearts.

Grief is a difficult emotion to manage any time of the year but can be particularly challenging during the holidays. This month, we want to highlight some tips for honoring and remembering lost loved ones.

This week's tip is to write them a letter.

Writing a letter to your loved one can be a cathartic way to express your feelings and thoughts during the holiday season. You can keep the letter or read it aloud as a way of communicating with them. We have also shared this idea in cases where there was an estranged relationship as it provides an opportunity for closure.

Remember, there is no right or wrong way to honor your loved one during the holidays. Do what feels meaningful and healing to you. We are here if you need to talk. Don't hesitate to call us at 541-548-7483.

We are still in awe of the incredible kindness and shared joy that filled the room at our 42nd Annual Festival of Trees! This year's event was especially meaningful as we celebrated two huge milestones.

A New Chapter: We proudly introduced our new name: ClearPath Healthcare! Our name has changed, but our commitment to compassionate care in Central Oregon remains the same, guiding our core services (Hospice, Transitions, Grief Support) and exciting new In-Home Primary Care.

Record Generosity: Thanks to YOU, we raised a preliminary total of over $220,000! Every dollar supports our neighbors, friends, and loved ones through free advocacy and resource support, free community bereavement support, Camp Sunrise for children, and much more. Also, thanks to you, we will never turn anyone away for an inability to pay for hospice care if they are uninsured.

Thank you for writing this new chapter with us. Your generosity is the heartbeat of our mission.

We recently shared a special moment with Robert, a courageous WWII Air Force veteran, during his pinning ceremony! The pride and gratitude in the room were immense as we recognized his selfless service.

As a Level 5 We Honor Veterans partner, ClearPath Healthcare is dedicated to providing dignity and respect to every veteran in our care at the end of life. Robert's ceremony—complete with a pin, certificate, quilt, and recognition from fellow veteran volunteers—is how we honor their sacrifice.

We are here to serve those who served us.
