💃 Happy International Dance Day! 💃

Today we’re celebrating our favorite dance expert, Bella, who keeps our community moving, smiling, and laughing every week!

Her Thursday Dancercise class is always the highlight of the week, bringing energy, joy, and plenty of fun to our residents. Along with weekly classes, Bella also creates amazing themed monthly performances like our 1950s Sock Hop, Latin dance, and belly dance. We’re especially excited for May’s Masquerade Ball theme!

Bella is truly the heartbeat of our community, bringing connection, laughter, and unforgettable memories to both residents and team members.

We love her so much and are so grateful for everything she brings to Overlake! ❤️

🌎🪴 Earth Day Creativity in Bloom! 🪴🌎

We celebrated Earth Day with a fun and colorful Garden Gnome Painting Workshop alongside our friend Ben from Interim HealthCare! Residents enjoyed bringing their own unique gnomes to life with bright paints, big personalities, and plenty of laughter along the way.

Be on the lookout for our newly painted gnomes in our beautiful courtyard, adding a little extra charm among the flowers and sunshine!

Residents indulged in decadent chocolate mousse cakes, delicate tea cookies, and sparkling tea as we honored the elegance and history of the iconic voyage.

The highlight of the afternoon? Recreating the unforgettable “I’m the king of the world” moment as Jack and Rose while “My Heart Will Go On” played in the background.

We’re so grateful for our wonderful partnership with Reading With Rover, whose pet therapy dogs bring so much joy, comfort, and connection to our residents.

This visit was extra special—our residents got involved in the fun by preparing homemade dog treats for their furry guests!

We look forward to their visit each month and can’t wait to see their wagging tails again! 🐶
