My Weekly Tip: Let them fail!

Mistakes are wonderful opportunities to learn. Involving children in finding solutions and finding their own way is an excellent tool to help them feel encouraged and empowered.

Are you traveling with your kids this summer?

Before our road trip I made my kids folders with all kinds of activities:
* An empty notebook to write their adventures
* Colored pencils (better than markers, you'll thank me later!)
* Stickers
* Magazines (We love "Highlights" and "High five")
* Worksheets (Math, writing, coloring pages, Sudoku and more)

This can also work for a boring day at home :-)

Have a wonderful weekend!!

Almost half way through Summer break, and we just got back from camping with our three kids

Here are my best tips for a successful camping with kids, please feel free to add some of your own :-)

* Roll and write games (like Qwixx) are fun to play and easy to carry

* Bring a tarp to put at the entrance of your tent, because the kids go in and out a lot

* USB string of LEDs with a battery pack can light up your tent the whole night (some times kids can have a hard time in a dark tent), and also makes it festive.

* Bring a pillow!

* Pre boil your camp potatoes at home so they’ll be ready in 15 minutes

* Treat yourself with some good coffee

* Don’t forget to pack lots of patience

Have fun

**And a big thank you to my husband who is a camping genius 😊
