Here’s my own PSA about ice as winter weather rolls in! ❄️🧊🥶

As winter is approaching and temperatures are dropping don’t assume everything is wet. Check to make sure it’s not secretly disguised as ice, especially in the shade.

I took my own very hard and very pain spill this morning carrying clean laundry to my office.

I thought since roofs weren’t frozen this morning (unlike yesterday) that there was no ice. Especially since I had only encountered wet surfaces out front.

Well, turns out the back patio had other plans and took me out. Ouch 🤕

Even with leaning back on a heating pad and taking lots of ibuprofen I’m feeling quite broken on my left shoulder, and back. Along with my neck and left wrist. I will be taking my own advice from now on and looking for ice before I grab the gigantic pile of laundry blocking my view of the vey disguised ice 🧊

Hopefully I feel less broken tomorrow as I wake up for a new day 🙏🙏

I’m baaaaaack!

Healed up for the most part and rockin it💪😎

Started out slow this past week on Thursday and Friday! Whoop whoop! 🙌 it went VERY well.

Thank you all for being patient with me after yet ANOTHER surgery 😆
it’s been a journey indeed but hopefully the very last one for…well, hopefully for forever!

It’s a busy month so if you want on the books I’m booking out in August and that’s filling up quick too! See ya’ll soon! 💆🌿

Update! 🚨

Had a successful surgery yesterday!

I’m MUCH less dizzy today after anesthesia and the anti nausea meds are helping for the most part.
They gave me 4 different anti nausea drugs and a patch yesterday. But STILL struggled with nausea.

Today is far better pain and dizziness wise.

As a reminder, I’ll be out of the office for the next couple weeks to recover.

I’ll keep ya’ll updated in case anything changes!🙌

Today marks 6 years of business!!!🎉🎉🎉

Hard to believe it’s been 6 whole
Years! In some ways it feel a lot longer but in all the best ways.

Thank you to all my amazing and insanely loyal clients for sticking with me! You guys are what make me so very successful!

It’s been a rough road over the last year and half with two major cervical spine surgeries with many months out of office. I feel
Incredibly honored that just about everyone has come back after such a long stent away. You guys rock! THANK YOU from the bottom of my heart ♥️

Into week two back at my office!

Ive been getting pretty fatigued by the end of each day but thats totally normal after being out of the office for 4 months 😆

Learning my limitations for workouts with work. Feels good to be moving again!

PT is going excellent and my PT is super jazzed of my major progress!

Blessed and Thankful for yet another successful surgery. Thank you for all your patience and for everyone scheduling again, means the world 🙏❤️

Had a little discomfort yesterday but im learning yoga and work in the same day was too much for my neck and shoulder.

UPDATE! Exciting NEWS!! 🎉 🎉🎉
I’m finally returning to my office to serve you all once again!!!

No more neck brace 🙌 and gained most the strength back in my right arm 💪! I’m starting out slow so I’m booking out faster than normal only in this first few weeks just as a heads up!

Scar looks excellent! I’m thoroughly impressed with Dr.Yundt’s skills! He’s the best!

Day 12 post surgery:

So far so good! Felt surprisingly good the first 4-5 days but then took a turn.
A very very sore turn.
Soreness is normal after surgery of course. There are plates and screws in there after all!

Sleep has been extremely difficult. Waking up constantly and super uncomfortable. I was off all meds for quite a few days but the last 2 days has been too sore for me to not take some.
Figured out my cervical pillow is what was causing me to feel worst! It’s very supportive and at this point too supportive. So I ditched it.
Got to chat with a few of you yesterday as many of you have checked in on me which is so sweet, thank you 🙏❤️

Trying to make peace with the neck brace still. Another month in this thing. So another month of no driving but that’s ok, I don’t really want to go anywhere anyway 😆! Lots of couch time.

Side note: sneezing post cervical spine surgery is AWFUL. For some reason my body thinks it’s a grand idea to sneeze constantly now 🤷‍♀️
So bizarre!

I’ll be starting PT in a month! Let’s hope I stay of track with healing and have no set backs 🙏🙏 missing my massage peeps!

Day 2 Post Surgery:

So far my recovery is far better than the last surgery! Praise God!
My anesthesiologist took into account my issue from the last surgery and the side effects from it is far less this time around.

I’m still occasionally dealing with dizziness but overall it’s not bad. Today is a sore day, my whole upper body really. The neck brace isn’t my favorite but I’ve gotta make peace with it for the next 6 weeks, haha! I think I can I think I can I think I can 🚂

I know it’s been a few months of being away from the office and it’s been a sad and painful time away…BUT…TOMORROW IS SURGERY DAY!!! I’d appreciate good vibes and prayers ❤️🙏

I’ll be in a neck brace for 6 weeks (having a fusion this time instead of a replacement) and then I’ll start PT after that. I’ll let everyone know once I’m able to be back in the office.

I appreciate all of your patience! Thank you for all the love, concern and care everyone has conveyed in this difficult time. I’ll be back before you know it! 😁😁

Here we go again!

Just when you think life can’t throw you any more curveballs, more come your way!

I wish I was out of office for a vacation but unfortunately it’s not for positive reasons.

I am yet AGAIN going in for neck surgery. This time it’s a C6-C7 disc replacement. My whole right upper back, shoulder arm and hand have been getting weaker and weaker and of course it doesn’t feel super either.

I am currently trying to get in touch with the schedule coordinator to get a surgery date. Should know end of today though.

This pain really started back in May, less than a year after my last surgery 😳, but really started to progress badly in the last month or two.

I know my doc will take good care of me and should make me feel whole again! I’m looking at a 6-8 week recovery after surgery. Pray and cross your fingers the surgery is not scheduled too far out! I want to get back to you all as quickly as possible🙌
