2. Recognize Teachable Moments: View daily challenges through the lens of virtues, becoming more aware of the virtues we need to practice.

3. Set Clear Boundaries: Establish boundaries based on virtues to create clarity and safety in relationships.

4. Honor the Spirit: Make time for wellness, reflection, reverence, beauty, and meaningful experiences

5. Offer Companioning: Deeply listen and be present for others, empowering them to find their own answers.

"We don't know what we are made of, until we are tested..." were the opening words of the beautiful Dr. Malvika Iyer, who was a guest speaker at our most recent All-Hands meeting.

She continues "...and I hope telling you my story today, will help each and every one of us find out what we are truly made of" as she waves her arms towards the camera, already teaching us a lesson.

Malvika is a bomb explosion survivor. One that took away her hands and severely affected her legs for which she needed extensive surgery just to survive.

Sill, she continues to thrive through her amazing will to accept the things she cannot change, fight for the things she can, and enjoy what the present moment offers.

While it started with a tragedy that was external, her story is really about the shift in the internal mindset. A mindset that is needed to focus on the things that matter while keeping an absolutely positive outlook about the future. It is a story about how changing small habits lead to amazing results and how perseverance is the most important word in English starting with a P.

Inspiration is an everyday thing but sometimes it takes a focused 40 minute session with your team to really light it up. Like the post event survey showed, 95% of us agree to (1) Never Give up (2) Have a positive attitude (3) Find Humor in any situation (4) Acceptance for your situation (5) Growth mindset. We agree to focus on the things that matter – our customers, our partners and our loved ones.
