Providence Chiropractic Center is a safe and serene place to become healthy. We specialize in your nerve system and how it affects your life.

Providence Chiropractic Center understands that most family health decisions are made by women, the family gatekeeper. There is a new class of women in our society called Sandwich Moms. These are the vital people who not only take care of their children (and husbands/partners) but they also take care of their parents. They are sandwiched between two generations that both need her. Stress from the demands placed upon her necessitate that she be on top of her game at all times. If she struggles, the entire family struggles. It is of utmost importance that Sandwich Moms take great care of themselves. Their health and ability to remain functional rely on their properly functioning nerve system. The nerve system is responsible for coordinating all functions of the body. If it falters, so will all other body systems. So, what does that mean? Honestly, it is hard to say specifically. But improper nerve function can result in not being able to do all of the things that are required to get through the day/week/month, like proper sleeping, digestion, concentrating, lifting and carrying and a host of other activities of daily living. The only way to know is to have a thorough evaluation. Our office concerns itself with the proper analysis of nerve system function. We use numerous objective indicators to determine if the nerve system is functioning optimally. If it is not, we develop care plans specifically for the findings. Each person is evaluated and based on their results, and we will tailor a Chiropractic care program to address the results. To make life easier on the Sandwich Moms, we also provide care plans for those for whom she cares...our office cares for generations of people, but emphasize care for Sandwich Moms. Providence family,

It’s been nearly two years since I have seen many of you. I cannot express adequately in words how much I have been blessed by being in your lives.

I am grateful for you all, and I am so happy doing what I am doing now at Sherman College.

For those of you who have been with me for so many years, I want you to continue experiencing chiropractic care.

After nearly 25 years of absolute privilege to serve our community, today I left the office for the last time.

It has been a pleasure serving those who graced me with their presence for nearly a quarter of a century.

You fulfilled my greatest dreams and my heart is filled with joy and sadness as I bid farewell to a life that some only dream of.

Thank you all for blessing me every single day.

Tonight I leave for a new life. I will serve as president of Sherman College of Chiropractic in South Carolina beginning Thursday, December 1.

I hope to provide the same level of service to Sherman as I have to Providence.

He’s back!!!

And he brought me a lovely photo of “Papa” who recently left us. Papa Richard was a blessing to anyone fortunate to be in his presence. His photo now sits on my wall so that he can watch over us.

For many years, I had the fortunate opportunity every three weeks or so to take care of a father-son team who brought joy to all.

Father passed away on May 28, 2022.

Today, son came in and brought his joy.

Dear valued and very much appreciated patients of Providence Chiropractic Center:

I trust everyone is well.

The office will be closed from September 15-29, at minimum, as I recover from having my left hip totally replaced. I’ve been struggling with a steadily declining left hip and it’s now time to have it fixed. I’ve tried everything that’s been offered and my surgeon and I have decided to proceed with the surgery. It’ll be awesome.

While I have every intention of returning back to work ASAP (2 weeks?), I may not depending upon my healing. I’ll keep you all informed here and via email.

If you have any questions, please text me on my cell phone. If you don’t have that number, PM me and I’ll be happy to provide you my number.

Annnnndddddd...they’re back!

It’s my favorite father/son team who come to Providence Chiropractic to bring joy and laughter.

Today, dad told me a story about son, John.

When John was a young boy, one of his teachers asked what he wanted to be when he grew up. John answered “happy.” The teacher replied “I don’t think you understood the question” to which John said “I don’t think you understood the answer.”

And so he we are, years later enjoying happiness at its finest and loving our lives.
